The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

Each of over 600 Royal LePage locations are encouraged to partner with a local women's shelter. This type of partnership can offer much-needed financial support to local shelters, as well as other needed goods and services. It is a valuable opportunity for Royal LePage sales representatives and employees to make contributions of money, goods, time, and skills.

Funds raised by the local Royal LePage offices remain in their local community. Local efforts benefit local shelters, and because Royal LePage pays the costs of administration, 100% of all money and effort goes toward the cause.

If you are interested in participating in a local Royal LePage Shelter Foundation event, please contact me at 905-335-3042.

Helping to Create Safer Homes and a Safer Community!

It takes tremendous courage to walk away from an abusive relationship. No one should have to do it alone. That is why the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is dedicated to helping to create safer homes and safer communities where you live.

Every year, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation helps 150 Canadian shelters provide a safe haven and a new beginning for 30,000 women and children. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation also helps women gain independence and economic self-sufficiency through a partnership with the Canadian Women's Foundation to provide grants to 35 provincial agencies across the country.

In addition to helping victims of domestic violence, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation works hard to help prevent it. One such initiative is The Fourth R, a violence-prevention program for high school students. The Fourth R program promotes healthy relationships, reduces risk-behaviours such as bullying, dating violence and peer violence, and encourages teens to make healthier lifestyle choices.
